Rose Rocket is now integrated with DAT load board, giving you the ability to post loads and find carriers without leaving the TMS. This integration allows for these major benefits:
This integration maps point-to-point order information from Rose Rocket to post loads on DAT. View & manage all orders that have been posted to a load board from within the orders and planning pages.
Setting it up with an existing DAT account
This integration is available for all DAT load board tiers and requires one API license on your account to set up. Before you configure this on Rose Rocket, you'll need to verify your account with DAT by doing the following:
Email [email protected] or call (800) 547-5417 Ext. 6109 or 6035 with:
· Your company name
· Your main company contact name & phone number
· Any unique identifier of your company (MC #, address, etc)
· Specify you are looking to enable the load board integration
Your DAT account manager will be notified and contact you directly to enable the integration. If you are interested in purchasing a DAT subscription, email [email protected] so to learn more.
Setting it up on Rose Rocket
Admin users can set up DAT from the Integrations page on Rose Rocket. In the DAT integration card, fill in the following information:

Posting a load
Post to DAT load board directly from an order in Rose Rocket. Orders must be point-to-point and include the origin & destination address, start & end time of the pickup range, and commodity details.
In the leg details of your order, choose “Create New Manifest” or “Assign Carrier/Driver” and complete the following steps.
Once your post is published to DAT, it will be recorded in the order activity panel.
The order will remain as Booked and the associated manifest will update to Partner Search status. In Partner Search status, no new stops or legs can be added to the manifest.
Loads published on DAT can be edited within the Order and Manifest details.
Once a load has been published to DAT, the only order details that can be edited are the dimensions and weight for each commodity.
Update the commodity details and save the order. The DAT post will be updated with the new dimensions unless previously overridden in the post parameters.
DAT does not support updating origin address, destination address, or pick up time window after a load has been posted. You will have to cancel the load board posting on Rose Rocket and post it to the load board again. We'll go over how to do this in the next section.
When saved, the details will be updated in DAT and recorded in the Order activity log.
When you have found a carrier for your load or want to remove a post from the load board, you have two options for taking a post off of DAT from the manifest.
Enable the connection between Rose Rocket and your DAT account at no extra cost by reaching out to your Account Manager.
