In addition to releasing a new integration with DAT, you can now enable single-leg orders to be posted automatically from Rose Rocket to the load board.
There are three steps involved in auto-posting to DAT:
Go to the Integrations page and open the DAT details card. Turn the ‘Auto-Post to Load Board’ toggle to ON and Save.
Once the Auto-Post toggle is enabled, an ‘Auto-Post Equipment Mapping’ section will appear. This is where Rose Rocket equipment accessorials are mapped to equipment types in DAT.
To help you get started, we’ve included five default Rose Rocket accessorials (Flatbed, Power Only, Reefer, Stepdeck, and Van) and mapped them to equipment types defined in DAT.
If you want to add accessorials outside of the default options, you can do so by updating them as Required Equipment on the Accessorials page.
How to do it:
In the Settings page, scroll down to Global Accessorials and select the ‘View Accessorials’ button. On the Accessorials page, you’ll see a new Equipment column where you can update accessorials as required equipment. Use the pen icon to toggle the ‘Is required equipment?’ to ON and save.
Here’s how you would update an accessorial:
Once you’ve updated or added all of the accessorials you want to map to the load board, assign them to your designated customer profiles from the Asseccorials tab on the Customers page.
Once they're saved, go back to the DAT card on the Integrations page. Select ‘+Add Equipment Mapping’ and choose your Rose Rocket accessorial from the dropdown menu. Match it with a DAT equipment type and ‘Update Settings’ to save.
Mappings can be added, edited, or removed at any time. Now, when an order is created with one of the mapped accessorials, it will be posted using the corresponding DAT equipment type.
Create an order. In the order details, you will now see an ‘Auto-post to DAT’ checkbox. Fill in your order details and assign one of the mapped accessorials to the order. This is required for orders to be automatically posted to DAT. If you don't want your order auto-posed, uncheck the 'Auto-post to DAT' box before continuing.
When an order makes it to BOOKED status, it with automatically be posted to DAT. A confirmation message will appear in the order activity log for reference. If an order cannot be auto-posted, you will also see a note describing why it could not be posted.
